Moving Through Loss

On February 7, 2019, at 11 weeks pregnant, my husband and I were devastated to learn our baby girl no longer had a heartbeat. This is a painful and vulnerable share. I tend to be fiercely private but, I realized that if I could help even one person moving through loss by sharing my recent experience, it would be worth it. This news brought me to my knees and initiated a painful yet beautiful journey of grief, healing, gratitude, reflection, and the opportunity to put my practice into action.I sat down with my husband, Travis Eliot, on The Be Ultimate Podcast so that together we could share the impact of this loss as well as the practices that supported us in moving through this time with compassion, wisdom, courage, and honesty. This conversation is for anyone moving through a time of grief. The experience and practices we share will help support you the next time you face a seemingly unbearable loss and my deepest hope is that in sharing our personal experience you will be reminded that you are not alone. To listen to the interview click here or watch the video below.
